MAXIMIZING SKILLS TO INCREASE VALUE AT WORK
There are certain factors that helps career growth. These factors include professional and personal development. These developments happen with skilling, both hard and soft. With these skills, employees can work better in their workplaces.
To support employees develop these skills to become more effective at work, this workshop is intended.
AROUND 284 EMPLOYEES FROM SMES REGISTERED FOR THE WORKSHOP.
The workshop was interactive through activities, videos, role-plays, etc. The participants took active part in these activities every day. The topics discussed in the workshop were Personality Development, Social Etiquettes, Goal Setting & Perception, Time Management, Effective Communication, Stress & Time Management, Team Building & Delegation, Effective Problem Solving Skills & Decision Making, and Effective Leadership.
The workshop was conducted by experienced trainers of Maclead Certification.
Mr. Bikram Bedi, Convenor of CII Delhi Panel on Digital India & President, Grofers India and Ms. Vaishali Srivastava, Head CII Delhi along with Ms. Namita Gautam, Managing Trustee Sleepwell Foundation, graced the Inaugural Session and encouraged the participants.
The workshop concluded through a valedictory ceremony on 17 January 2021.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Alka Kaul, Past Chairperson CII Delhi State & Director, Horizon Industrial Products Pvt. Ltd., in her speech, congratulated the participants to take benefit from this opportunity. She shared her experiences and gave a very inspiring speech. She also appreciated the efforts made by Sleepwell Foundation in organizing these workshops for the benefit of the youth.
The successful participants were awarded Certificate of Completion by the Chief Guest.
Ms. Namita Gautam gave her Closing remarks and motivated the participants by giving an example of Late Smt. Sheela Gautam, the founder of Sheela Foam.
Having a positive attitude towards professional development is important. Sleepwell Foundation believes that by upgrading the skills of the employees, there is scope for growth — for both the employee and the organization.
