On the occasion of Annual Day Celebration at AKP Govt. Girls Degree College, Khurja (U.P.), on 5th March, 2024, Ms. Namita Gautam was felicitated by the principal for her outstanding contribution to the advancement of education. The college's Principal, along with esteemed dignitaries including Shri Chandra Prakash Singh, District Magistrate of Bulandshahr, U.P., and a host of other distinguished personalities from Khurja Administration and civil societies, acknowledged Ms. Gautam's pivotal role in establishing essential infrastructure and meticulously crafted courses at the SDC Khurja. Her efforts have been instrumental in spearheading the integration of the 'Vocational' component of the New Education Policy into the college's curriculum. At present more than 200 students are benefitting from this endeavour. On realizing the success of this scheme, other educational institutions of adjoining areas are approaching SDC Khurja to sign up pacts that would enable the students of their institutions to fulfil this mandate as required by the NEP.
