ACT CLEAN WORKSHOPS

On 24 July 2026, the Sleepwell Foundation conducted the ACT CLEAN Workshop at Atal Adarsh Vidyalaya, Havelock Square, engaging 149 students from Classes IV and V to promote cleanliness, personal hygiene, environmental responsibility, and positive behavioural habits.

Students explored the importance of cleanliness through the concepts of People, Places, and Products while learning healthy hygiene practices, self-care, emotional well-being, discipline, and the value of developing responsible daily habits.

The workshop highlighted caring for public spaces and personal belongings while introducing cleanliness as being Damage Free, Disease Free, and Waste Free, encouraging organisation, safety, respect, and sustainable living.

Students discovered that cleanliness depends on consistent habits rather than expensive products. The session introduced positive thinking, responsible behaviour, and the 5S Principles to strengthen discipline, teamwork, organisation, and accountability.

Mr. Veer's presentation on the 5S Principles, educational videos, discussions, and interactive activities encouraged peer learning, respectful communication, environmental stewardship, curiosity, confidence, and enthusiastic participation throughout the workshop.

The workshop enhanced behavioural awareness, environmental consciousness, hygiene practices, and responsible citizenship through experiential learning. Students developed practical lifelong habits and were empowered to contribute towards healthier communities and a cleaner India.
