ACT CLEAN WORKSHOPS

The Act Clean Awareness Workshop, organized by Sleepwell Foundation, was successfully conducted on 27 July 2026 at St. Teresa Public School, Sector-3, Greater Noida, by Ms. Praveen Gautam and Ms. Aastha Kamra. The workshop promoted personal hygiene, environmental cleanliness, responsible waste management, and sustainable habits among students. A total of 101 students participated across two batches, ensuring active involvement and meaningful interaction.

The sessions focused on personal hygiene, cleanliness in schools and public spaces, waste segregation, responsible waste disposal, reducing plastic use, and individual responsibility towards environmental protection. Students actively reflected on their daily practices and learned how simple actions contribute to a cleaner and healthier community.

A major highlight was the 5S Methodology session conducted by intern Mr. Veer Singh, who introduced the principles of Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain. He also conducted an engaging quiz that reinforced key concepts, encouraged participation, and effectively assessed students' understanding.

The workshop concluded with students taking a collective pledge to maintain personal hygiene, keep their surroundings clean, manage waste responsibly, and inspire others to adopt environmentally friendly practices. Their enthusiastic participation reflected strong interest in building cleaner and healthier communities.

Overall, the workshop received positive feedback, with the interactive quiz proving highly effective in enhancing engagement and learning. Future workshops should continue incorporating interactive activities while grouping students of similar age or class levels to ensure content is better aligned with their learning needs and developmental stages.
