Jamghat Pathshala is a makeshift pavement school in Sector 137, Noida, where 80+ underprivileged girls and boys study free of cost.
In 2021, Renowned journalist Ms. Richa Anirudh started this school with about eight students. Since then, it has grown many times with over 80 students attending classes.
Classes are conducted from 7:30 am to 10 am in the morning. Apart from teaching students basic subjects, like English, Hindi, Mathematics, and others, these children are also taught good behaviour, patriotism, communication skills, health and hygiene, games, and much much more.
Jamghat Pathshala not only provides free education to these underprivileged children but also works to re-enroll them in schools. Not only that, nutritious food & uniforms are also given to these children.
On 24th May 2023, Ms. Namita Gautam, Managing Trustee with her team handed over the keys of the vehicle to Richa & Team- Jamghat at the school site.
On the occasion, SWF also distributed small gifts (pencil boxes), caps & ice cream to the students.
SWF is committed to encouraging the learning of the underprivileged and hopes that with this vehicle, the functioning of the school will pick up more pace.
