In today’s fast-paced, technology-driven world, computer literacy is no longer a luxury; it’s a necessity. However, for many young people in rural areas, access to computer education remains a distant dream. The lack of basic computer skills can limit their employment opportunities, hinder their personal growth, and prevent them from participating fully in today’s digital economy.
WE BELIEVE in bridging the digital divide and empowering rural youth with the essential skills they need to succeed.
Sleepwell Foundation offers the Certificate Course in Active Basic IT (CCAB) in collaboration with NIIT Foundation. The course covers a wide range of foundational topics, including:
• Basic Computer Skills: Understanding the fundamental components of a computer, operating systems, and how to navigate various software applications.
• MS Office Suite: Proficiency in widely used tools like MS Paint, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point, which are crucial for daily administrative tasks, communication, and data management in any professional environment.
• Basic Internet: Training on how to use the internet for research, communication and accessing vital online resources, which is essential in today’s interconnected world.
These modules are designed to ensure that students gain a solid foundation in IT, enabling them to perform basic computer tasks with confidence and efficiency.
