Faculty members of DPMI, Ms. Jyostana Upreti, Ms. Pooja Kohli and Dr. Roopal Chawla apprised the trainees with details of the curriculum, job opportunities & placement, and the role and importance of health workers in society.
At present, the Centre is running three 6-month short-term courses; Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, and Phlebotomy. Labs have been set up at the center while arrangements have been made with reputed hospitals and health centers to provide practical classes to the trainees.
Ms. Namita Gautam, in her speech, thanked DPMI for their support in starting the job-oriented courses at SDC Khurja, thereby enhancing job prospects for the trainees. She conveyed her best wishes to the trainees and urged them to sincerely learn and prove themselves worthy of the course.
