ACT CLEAN WORKSHOPS

Sleepwell Foundation conducted an ACT CLEAN WORKSHOP for students of Class 4th & 5th of Atal Adarsh Prathmik Vidyalaya, Moti Bagh, New Delhi on 19th September 2024

100 students participated in two batches due to large number of participants

The workshop aimed to raise awareness about cleanliness among students, encouraging them to become future Swachhta Volunteers. It is also aligned with the 9th year of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

The session began by explaining the significance of cleanliness and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Students watched the SWF ACT Clean video, followed by a discussion on the importance of cleanliness and hygiene. A skit demonstrated proper waste disposal, emphasizing the importance of using dustbins. The 5S steps (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) were explained to help students organize and maintain cleanliness. Students were taught the proper way to wash their hands, making the session both educational and enjoyable.

The workshop was highly successful, with active participation from students. The 5S activity was particularly impactful. Positive feedback from the school principal confirmed the effectiveness of the session in raising awareness about cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental responsibility.

The workshop inspired students to adopt cleanliness practices and spread awareness in their communities, contributing to the broader goal of a "Clean India."
