PROSKILL WORKSHOP

The Sleepwell Foundation conducted a workshop aimed at arming students with essential skills to navigate job interviews, transforming them from stumbling novices to polished candidates.

The workshop sought to enlighten students about the inner workings of HRs and the nuances of the hiring process—shedding light on what recruiters seek in candidates and how selections are made.

Through mock interviews and interactive activities, the trainer guided students through the entire journey, starting from resume writing to the final handshake. Key aspects covered included discovering crucial elements for job search success, crafting impactful resumes tailored to specific job applications, leveraging the internet to identify potential employers, optimizing online presence to enhance hiring prospects, and developing a professional demeanor for a positive first impression.

The sessions proved highly informative and immensely beneficial to the students, who admitted to previously having limited knowledge in this area, relying on intuition and luck during the challenging job search phase. With the newfound skill set acquired from the workshop, they now feel well-prepared and confident to face interviews.
