SKILLING RURAL YOUTH OF KHURJA
Sleepwell Foundation organized a workshop — "Enhance Your Professional Effectiveness," featuring a session on Effective Communication Skills specifically tailored for the potters associated with the Khurja Pottery Manufacture Association, Khurja.
The event took place at SDC Khurja on November 8, 2023, and drew the participation of 20 entrepreneurs from the association.
Distinguished guests at the workshop included Mr. Ravi Rana, President of KPA, and Dr. L.K. Sharma, CEO of Mahamana Ceramic Development Organization. They encouraged the participants to leverage the workshop to enhance their skills, emphasizing the potential benefits for their businesses.
The workshop proved to be highly engaging, with active participation from the attendees. A comprehensive exploration of the importance of effective communication in the business realm was provided, with examples highlighting the significance of customer-client relationships. Additionally, a workshop activity focused on active listening and non-verbal communication—critical skill sets for individuals in the professional world—was conducted.
Numerous participants shared their experiences during the workshop, contributing to its overall enrichment. The success of the workshop was evident, prompting the President of KPA to express a desire to organize more such workshops on a larger scale, preferably at the auditorium of the Potters’ Association. Participants themselves acknowledged the tangible benefits of the workshop in improving their business skills.
The positive feedback received from the participants serves as motivation for our future endeavours, encouraging us to continue providing valuable resources to the people in enhancing their skills for a better living.
