Preparing students for real-world professional opportunities, Sleepwell Foundation conducted two interactive workshops on Interview Skills at SDC Khurja on 14th May 2026 for 44 trainees from Paramedical, Software Development, and Tally courses. The sessions focused on building confidence, communication skills, and interview readiness for internships and job placements. Through mock interviews, role plays, and practical discussions, the trainees learned that interviews are not only about giving correct answers, but also about presenting themselves with confidence, clarity, honesty, and a positive attitude. Facilitators guided students on handling commonly asked interview questions, maintaining professional body language, making strong first impressions, and understanding recruiter expectations. Resume presentation and awareness about ATS-friendly resumes were also briefly discussed. Trainees actively participated and reflected on their own strengths and challenges, especially regarding confidence and self-expression. The workshops created meaningful awareness about professional communication and encouraged the trainees to prepare themselves more effectively for future career opportunities.

Equipping students with essential employability skills, Sleepwell Foundation organised Resume Writing Skills Workshops at SDC, Khurja, on 16th April 2026 for 108 trainees from Paramedical, Beautician, and AFT courses. The capacity-building sessions aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of resume writing, workplace communication, and professional self-presentation. Through bilingual Hindi-English explanations, students learned about resume structure, cover letters, formatting, use of action words, and presenting their strengths effectively. Interactive discussions and practical examples helped participants understand industry expectations and the importance of clear, honest, and organised communication. Facilitators observed that many students had limited exposure to formal writing and initially lacked confidence in expressing themselves. However, with guided support and simplified learning methods, students gradually became more comfortable identifying their skills and creating job-ready resumes. The workshops successfully created awareness about professional documentation and laid a strong foundation for future employability and career readiness among participants.

The Sleepwell Foundation organized a workshop on “Interview Skills & Resume Writing” for the trainees of SDC Khurja on 26th June, 2025. Held in the institute’s conference room, the session was conducted in two groups and attended by 70 first-year and final-year DPMI students.

The session began with an introduction to interview formats and key preparation strategies. Students learned about the “3 Golden Rules” of interviews, essential do’s and don’ts, and practiced responding to commonly asked questions. A role-play activity on “May I come in…” demonstrated the impact of body language, tone, and personality types in interviews.

Participants also engaged in a Group Discussion (GD) activity to build communication and presentation skills. The trainer provided guidance on resume writing, shared a sample format, and gave personalized feedback on resumes submitted earlier. Overall, the workshop offered practical insights and boosted student confidence for future job interviews.
