The Sleepwell Foundation organized a series of three dynamic and insightful workshops on Emotional Wellness and Effective Communication for 356 trainees at ITI Mangolpuri, New Delhi. Held over five days—10th, 11th, 13th, 17th and 18th June 2025—the workshops were conducted in two batches each day, with morning sessions focused on Emotional Wellness and afternoon sessions on Effective Communication.

In the Emotional Wellness session, trainees explored ways to enhance emotional resilience, understand their feelings, and manage stress effectively. Through engaging activities, storytelling, visuals, and interactive discussions, the session addressed topics such as emotional awareness, healthy coping mechanisms, the importance of boundaries, and self-care strategies. Techniques like journaling, time management, and box-breathing were also introduced.

The Effective Communication session emphasized both verbal and non-verbal communication through role-plays, games, and discussions. Key concepts included assertiveness, active listening, body language, and the SOLER technique. The session also indirectly prepared students for interviews by improving their self-expression and interpersonal skills.

Both sessions received enthusiastic participation. Trainees were engaged, reflective, and eager to learn, with the trainers receiving positive feedback for their energy and approach. The workshop successfully equipped participants with essential life skills for personal and professional growth.
