Session - Stress & Anger Management Workshop

Sleepwell Foundation organized a workshop on Stress and Anger Management for the staff of MET RIL, Gurgaon, on 23rd December 2025. Conducted in two groups, the workshop saw the active participation of 36 staff members. The session began with a welcome address by Ms. Arti Sharma, HR, MET RIL. Trainers initiated an engaging discussion by inviting participants to share recent stressful experiences, setting an open and reflective tone.

The concept of stress was explained, emphasizing that a certain level of stress—eustress—is essential for survival and growth. Flow Theory was discussed to illustrate how balancing skills and challenges leads to peak performance, generating strong interaction. The trainers also addressed chronic stress, its symptoms, and its impact on the body. Anger management was explored through myths, the Iceberg model, and four expression styles: aggressive, passive, passive-aggressive, and assertive. The workshop concluded with the concept of “RAIN” for self-care. The session was interactive, relatable, and well appreciated by both HR and participants.

Session - Effective Communication Workshop

Sleepwell Foundation conducted a workshop on Effective Communication for the staff of MET RIL, Gurgaon, on 24th June 2025. 58 participants attended the session, which was conducted in two groups. The workshop began with a welcome address by Ms. Monica Vohra, Head-HR, MET RIL.

The trainers initiated the session with an interactive discussion, followed by an exploration of communication as a process of sharing information, thoughts, and emotions through speech, writing, and body language. A warm-up activity sparked conversation around key topics like first impressions and communication methods.

Participants discussed common communication barriers and learned the importance of active listening through role plays. The S.O.L.E.R. technique was introduced to emphasize non-verbal skills.

The workshop ended with an open discussion, real-life examples, and participant engagement. The session was well-received by both the HR Head and attendees.

Session - Emotional Wellness & First-Aid Workshop

Sleepwell Foundation conducted an Emotional Wellness & First-Aid Workshop for the staff of MET RIL, Gurgaon, on 1st May 2025. Held in two groups, the session engaged 43 participants in an interactive and insightful experience. The workshop began with a welcome by Ms. Monica Vohra, Head-HR, followed by an introduction from Ms. Parveen Gautam of Sleepwell Foundation.

Trainers used real-life examples and activities, including a short video on emotional vs. physical hurt, and introduced key concepts like the 7 core feelings, their influencing factors, and common myths. An engaging 4-3-2-1 mindfulness exercise helped participants reconnect with the present moment.

Discussions highlighted the consequences of neglecting emotions and practical steps for emotional care.

The workshop was very successful and well-received with enthusiastic participation and appreciation from both attendees and HR. It successfully promoted awareness and tools for emotional well-being.
