The Good Touch and Bad Touch Awareness Workshop was conducted on 6th May at Navyug School, Vinay Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi for 121 students of Classes 4th and 5th. The session was facilitated by Ms. Aastha Kamra and Ms. Teranika Sawhney to promote personal safety, body awareness, and child protection through age-appropriate, interactive learning activities.

The workshop introduced students to the concepts of good touch, bad touch, personal boundaries, and body autonomy. Interactive games, demonstrations using a teaching doll, educational videos, storytelling, and situational discussions helped children understand safe behaviour, trusted adults, and the importance of Child Helpline Number 1098.

All 121 students participated enthusiastically in activities, discussions, and question-answer sessions. They confidently identified safe and unsafe situations, understood the importance of saying "No" to uncomfortable touch, and learned to immediately report concerns to parents, teachers, or other trusted adults.

The workshop successfully strengthened students' awareness of personal safety while building confidence, emotional resilience, and assertive communication skills. The active participation of all students reflected the effectiveness of the programme and reinforced the importance of conducting regular child safety awareness sessions in schools.

The Sleepwell Foundation conducted an Emotional Wellness Workshop at Navyug School, Vinay Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, for 121 students of Classes 9th to 12th at the beginning of the academic session 2026–27. The workshop aimed to promote emotional well-being, resilience, and healthy coping skills. Ms. Parveen introduced the Sleepwell Foundation and engaged the students through an interactive ice-breaking activity, creating a positive and participative learning environment.

The session focused on emotional awareness, empathy, communication, self-care, stress management, and healthy coping mechanisms. Students learned to identify and express emotions, set personal boundaries, manage time effectively, and practiced the box-breathing technique for relaxation.

Students actively participated by discussing emotional challenges, future concerns, and career-related stress. Two students shared their experiences of losing their fathers, finding comfort in the supportive environment created by the trainers and their classmates.

The workshop successfully enhanced students' emotional awareness and resilience, encouraging self-reflection and healthy coping strategies. Many expressed interest in similar sessions, while the timely intervention of Ms. Sunita Chauhan ensured discipline and the smooth conduct of the programme.

Sleepwell Foundation conducted an engaging workshop on “Good Touch, Bad Touch” for 99 Students of Classes 3–5 at Navyug School, Vinay Marg, Chanakyapuri on 11th July 2025. Held in two sessions and designed to be age-appropriate and interactive, the workshop began with a lively game of Simon Says to assess body awareness.

The sessions focused on helping children understand personal boundaries, identify safe and unsafe touch, and know what actions to take in difficult situations. Concepts were explained through relatable scenarios, images, and peer-led discussions. A key emphasis was placed on feelings, encouraging students to trust their instincts and speak to trusted adults.

A Childline (1098) video was shown to reinforce learning, followed by a joyful “Boogie-Woogie” dance session that children thoroughly enjoyed. Feedback during and after the workshop showed strong retention—especially of the 1098 helpline and the dance. The sessions ended on a positive, confident, and energetic note.
