Sleepwell Foundation organized a series of workshops over a period of five days aimed at enhancing the emotional wellness of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) and Cluster Bus Drivers. Around 65 drivers participated each day, equipping themselves with essential skills to effectively manage the stress inherent in their roles of transporting countless commuters through the bustling city. Navigating the congested streets of Delhi, negotiating narrow lanes, and contending with challenging traffic situations and unruly passengers pose significant challenges. The primary objective of the workshops was to provide the drivers with tools enabling them to remain composed in the face of such stressors, ultimately contributing to their emotional well-being and, consequently, road safety.

Mr. C.S. Chauhan (CTD) of Delhi Transport Corporation inaugurated the workshop in presence of Mr. Suman Nath, Deputy Director, CII Delhi.

Throughout the workshops, drivers gained insights into recognizing and effectively handling various emotions experienced by people. The sessions were highly interactive, with participants displaying a keen willingness to engage actively, infusing the atmosphere with enthusiasm and liveliness. The trainers integrated real-life examples, especially those relevant to the drivers' daily routines. The workshops concluded with valuable tips on emotional wellness, highlighted by relevant examples.

The success of the workshop was evident in the positive feedback received from participants, who believed that the learning acquired would significantly enhance their emotional well-being. DTC authorities were impressed by the workshop's impact and expressed a desire for Sleepwell Foundation to conduct more such sessions in the future.
