Sleepwell Foundation conducted a Workshop on Emotional Wellness for 131 employees at Mount Talent Consultancy's Noida office on 15th November 2024. The workshops aimed to raise awareness about the importance of emotional wellness through interactive activities, role play, and discussions.

The session began with simple, thought-provoking questions, encouraging participants to reflect on personal experiences. This led to a discussion about NAVRAS (nine emotions) and the dangers of suppressing emotions. A role play between two trainers acting as a husband and wife illustrated how managing emotions, especially anger, can improve relationships.

The session also covered healthy vs. unhealthy stress coping methods and the importance of learning to say NO for better emotional well-being. The trainer shared stories and strategies to improve emotional resilience, such as exercise, hobbies, and journaling. Attendees wrote down their stressors, and practical advice was given on handling them.

Two alarming cases emerged: one participant, who had witnessed her fiancé’s suicide, and another struggling with ongoing suicidal thoughts. These highlighted the urgent need for emotional health support at the workplace.

The workshop was very successful and well-received, and the participants offered very encouraging feedback. The coordinators expressed interest in organizing future sessions and having regular counselling visits for their employees.

Sleepwell Foundation conducted a workshop on Effective Communication Skills for 78 call centre employees at Mount Talent Consultancy’s Noida office on 26th November 2024.

The session aimed to improve communication skills for better customer service and professional growth. Key areas covered included communication principles, active listening, and managing customer emotions like frustration. The importance of building rapport, clarity in communication, and problem-solving techniques were emphasized. Role-playing exercises, such as “May I Come In?” helped employees practice assertive communication styles. The workshop also focused on overcoming communication barriers and using scripts effectively. Interactive activities like “Chinese Whispers” and a humorous movie made the session engaging and memorable.

The workshop was highly successful, with participants gaining confidence in handling customer interactions. Many expressed interest in future workshops on career counseling, spoken English, and time management.

Sleepwell Foundation Conducted a workshop on Effective Communication for the employees of Mount Talent at their NOIDA office on July 17, 2024. More than 45 employees participated. The workshop aimed to improve communication skills through interactive activities and discussions.

The session began with a "Chinese Whisper-action" exercise, highlighting communication barriers. Participants then engaged in a role-play, "May I Come In?", to explore three communication styles: submissive, assertive, and aggressive. The workshop covered key concepts like body language, tone, and content, using the 55%-38%-7% rule and real-life examples to reinforce learning.

Other topics included the differences between one-way and two-way communication, the communication process, and techniques for better listening. Workplace communication, barriers, and strategies to improve were also discussed. The session concluded with practical tips for effective communication, such as maintaining eye contact and varying tone.

The workshop was very successful and was well-received by participants, who found it informative and engaging. They expressed a commitment to applying these skills in their daily work interactions.
