Sleepwell Foundation conducted an Emotional Wellness Workshop for the 2nd-year BTech students of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS) on 21st February 2025. A total of 44 students, including 32 boys and 12 girls, participated in the session.
The workshop began with a warm welcome and an engaging introduction by students Khushi Sharma and Rishika Gupta, setting the tone for an interactive experience. The session covered various topics, including happiness, stress, and emotional well-being. Key highlights included a thought-provoking warm-up activity, a video on the difference between physical and emotional pain, and a group discussion on feelings. The trainers also introduced the ‘Feelings’ Chart, helping participants better articulate their emotions, and debunked myths like “boys shouldn’t cry” and “asking for help is weak.”
Self-care strategies were shared, both short-term and long-term, to improve emotional health. The workshop concluded with a ‘Box Breathing’ exercise, offering practical tools for managing stress. The session successfully fostered self-awareness and encouraged healthier emotional habits. The workshop was very successful, with positive feedback from the students.

46 faculty members participated in the workshop.
The Workshop was inaugurated by Ms. Amita Dev, DG-VIPS, and Mr. Harsh Juneja, Professor of Practice and HOD-Training.
The workshop began with a warm welcome by the college coordinator, followed by an introduction of the Sleepwell Foundation team by Dr. Saumya, Coordinator at VIPS. The trainers engaged the faculty with interactive questions about their emotions, leading to an animated discussion. A short video highlighted the difference between physical and emotional hurt, sparking further conversation.
The trainers introduced the “Feelings Chart,” helping faculty members relate to various emotions, and discussed common myths about feelings. They emphasized the importance of emotional wellness and self-care, offering strategies for managing emotions and anxiety. The session concluded with a relaxing box-breathing exercise.
The workshop was highly appreciated, with positive feedback from the faculty, who expressed interest in future workshops for students.
An MOU was signed between the Sleepwell Foundation and VIPS, wherein the Sleepwell Foundation would conduct a series of 10 workshops covering various aspects of emotional wellness for the benefit of VIPS students. Ms. Amita Dev, DG, VIPS, and Ms. Parveen Gautam, Trainer and Facilitator, Sleepwell Foundation, signed the MOU on behalf of their respective organizations.
