Sleepwell Foundation conducted an impactful workshop on “Good Touch, Bad Touch” at Navyug School, Moti Bagh, New Delhi, on 21st July 2025, for 110 primary school students in two interactive batches. Part of the Emotional Wellness Series, the session focused on teaching children about body safety, personal boundaries, and how to respond to unsafe situations—all in an age-appropriate and engaging manner.

The workshop began with a lively game of “Simon Says” to build comfort and assess basic awareness of body parts. This was followed by an interactive discussion on identifying good and bad touch using real-life examples. Children were taught who can touch them and under what circumstances, along with strategies like shouting, running, and informing a trusted adult.

To deepen understanding, a short video was shown, followed by a group discussion. Children also shared thoughts on the mic, boosting confidence and participation. The workshop ended with a fun Boogie-Woogie dance, leaving students informed and uplifted.

The sessions focused on helping children understand the concept of bullying, including its verbal, physical, social, and cyber forms. Emphasis was placed on cyberbullying, given students’ active engagement on social media. A key highlight was a skit activity where students creatively depicted bullying scenarios and solutions. Interactive discussions and videos further deepened their understanding. Real-life examples and a rapper’s music video resonated strongly, leading to emotional responses and reflection.

The workshop effectively empowered students with awareness, empathy, and tools to recognize and prevent bullying.
