1. Emotional Wellness & First Aid

The first workshop focused on “Emotional Wellness & First Aid.” After a warm-up questionnaire, the facilitators discussed various emotions and highlighted how neglecting them can lead to emotional, physical, and behavioural challenges. The session concluded with practical self-care strategies categorized into short-term, long-term, and regular care, empowering participants to take proactive steps toward emotional well-being.
2. Effective Communication
Facilitators: Ms. Suminder Kaur & Ms. Parmeet Kaur Manchanda
The second workshop addressed “Effective Communication.” It began with an interactive warm-up discussion to understand participants’ perspectives. Through engaging role plays, the facilitators demonstrated different communication styles and emphasized the importance of active listening. The session also covered barriers to communication, factors influencing perception, and non-verbal communication skills.
3. Relationships
Facilitators: Ms. Parmeet Kaur Manchanda & Ms. Veena Agarwal
The third workshop explored the theme of “Relationships.” Facilitators initiated discussions on various types of relationships and emphasized that effective communication is the foundation of strong and healthy bonds. Interactive true/false exercises were conducted, and the concept of “I + U = We” was introduced. The session concluded with four litmus tests for healthy relationships and a short story illustrating how perspectives influence reactions.
4. Stress & Anger Management
Facilitators: Ms. Vickie Rai & Ms. Parmeet Kaur Manchanda
The fourth workshop focused on “Stress and Anger Management.” Facilitators explained stress, its physical impact, and the concept of eustress. They shared effective coping strategies and discussed different types of anger, common myths surrounding anger, and the “Anger Iceberg” model. A role-play highlighted real-life anger issues, followed by practical stress management techniques.
5. Change Management
Facilitators: Ms. Vickie Rai & Ms. Suminder Kaur
The final workshop centred on “Change Management.” Facilitators engaged participants in discussions about their perceptions of change, emphasizing that change is constant and often challenging. Coping strategies were introduced using the traffic light metaphor—to stop, pause, or move forward mindfully. The session concluded on an uplifting note with the song “Har Ghadi Badal Rahi Hai Zindagi,” leaving participants inspired and motivated.
Participants expressed heartfelt gratitude to Sleepwell Foundation for organizing this meaningful workshop series and shared their enthusiasm for future emotional wellness initiatives.
