Interactive discussions covered the meaning and nature of stress, its physical and emotional effects, causes and impact of exam stress, and common mistakes that intensify it. The session aimed to help students understand their emotions, strengthen their inner resilience, and learn simple, practical tools for better mental and emotional well-being.

The workshop opened with a gentle icebreaker that encouraged students to share personal thoughts, helping them recognise that emotions vary from person to person. A short video, #ReadTheSigns, sparked meaningful conversations around loneliness, anger, and the importance of acknowledging emotional pain. Through an interactive presentation, students learned that all emotions are valid and that mindful responses, self-compassion, and releasing resentment can support emotional balance.

A calming box-breathing exercise closed the session, leaving many students feeling relaxed and “lighter.” The boys participated enthusiastically, expressing gratitude and curiosity. The workshop offered a warm, safe space that provided valuable insights—and set the stage for ongoing conversations on emotional wellness.
