A Good Touch–Bad Touch Awareness Workshop was organized by Sleepwell Foundation at Navyug Primary School, Pataudi House, on 7th September 2026, facilitated by Ms. Aastha Kamra and Ms. Prisha Rana. The session was attended by 125 students and aimed to create age-appropriate awareness about personal safety, body boundaries, private body parts, body autonomy, and appropriate responses to uncomfortable or unsafe situations. The workshop emphasized that every child is special, their body belongs to them, and they have the right to say “No” to unwanted touch.

The session began with an engaging “Simon Says” activity, helping children become comfortable discussing their bodies. The facilitators explained Good Touch and Bad Touch through simple examples and discussions. Children were encouraged to recognize touches that feel safe, caring, uncomfortable, frightening, confusing, or unsafe, while understanding that their feelings matter.

An educational video, “Good Touch and Bad Touch – Komal,” was shown to reinforce the concepts. Through interactive activities, children practiced identifying appropriate and inappropriate situations. The facilitators also introduced the SAY–GO–TELL safety response, encouraging children to say “No,” move to a safe place, and tell a trusted adult.

The workshop reinforced important messages that every child is special and their body belongs to them. Children learned that they have the right to maintain personal boundaries and refuse unwanted touch. They were encouraged never to keep unsafe touching a secret and to continue telling trusted adults until they receive appropriate help and support.
