Sleepwell Foundation conducted a “Stop Bullying” awareness session on 16th September 2026 at Genesis Global School, Noida, for 130 students of MYP 1 and MYP 2. The session was conducted by trainers Pratima Virwani and Parveen Gautam, who sensitized students about bullying, its impact, and the importance of empathy, kindness, respect, and speaking up against bullying. The interactive session encouraged students to promote a safe, positive, and supportive school environment.

As part of the Emotional Wellness Programme, an interactive session on Understanding and Addressing Bullying helped students recognise physical, verbal, social, emotional, and cyberbullying, and understand its impact on well-being. Through stories, videos, and reflection, students discussed responsible bystander behaviour, empathy, online harassment, and the importance of seeking help. The session also highlighted emotional first aid and encouraged students to respond with confidence, sensitivity, and resilience.

During the interaction with Ms. Lubna, School Counsellor, and Mr. Vijay Pal, Principal, Genesis School, Noida, recommendations included establishing peer-support programmes, confidential reporting mechanisms, regular teacher and parent orientations, cyber-safety initiatives, and clear anti-bullying policies. The initiative supports the vision of NEP 2020 and contributes to SDGs 3, 4, 5, and 16, promoting emotional well-being, inclusive education, dignity, safety, and responsible citizenship.
